Lena Bevilacqua

Deputy Chief of Public Safety

Shift: Administrative Day Shift

Time at Curry: Since 2025

Experience before Curry: I have a bachelor’s degree in biology / chemistry, a Master’s degree from BU in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree from Suffolk University in Public Administration. I went to the MBTA Police Academy and graduated in 2011, worked as a patrolman in a municipality. In 2013, I started working part-time as a patrol officer for Massachusetts Maritime Academy Police Department. I became the Glock armor for MMA PD and soon to become the Firearms instructor.

Brief Personal History: I am an outdoor sports person. I snowboard, hike, run, play soccer, etc. I love spending time with my family and finding new ways to teach them about science and math. I love to spend time doing science projects with my kids.

Favorite Place on Campus: The Gym, it is where I can workout and stress, tension, and not think about my to do list.

Experience before Curry: Teacher and Part-Time Police Sergeant at The Abington Police Department

Brief Personal History: During personal time, I enjoy time with my wife and two daughters. You will often find me boating, kayaking, and hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire during the warm months and during the winter I enjoy traveling to warm states and cruises to the Caribbean Islands.

Brief Personal History: I am an avid runner, and I enjoy spending time with my family and being outside.

Trina Alexknovitch

Time at Curry: Since 2023

Experience before Curry: Colby-Sawyer College; NH Public Defender Investigator; Police Officer in Londonderry, NH and in Littleton, NH; Veterans Affairs Police Officer, Military Police Officer

Brief Personal History: I have a bachelor’s in psychology and a Certificate in Sign Language Interpreting. I enjoy working with college students, as they are inquisitive, they have good senses of humor, and, at times, they can be a challenge to engage. I like kayaking, roller skating, fishing, bird watching, and bowling.

Favorite Place on Campus: the Quad; it’s a great place to walk

Time at Curry: Since 2025

Experience before Curry: Prior to Curry I was a Reserve Police Officer for a local municipality. I have been a Mental Health Counselor for over fifteen years and an EMT for twenty years. I spent time on the Plymouth County Critical Incident Stress Management Team, and I also have experience in emergency management.

Brief Personal History: I am a huge Disney World fan

Experience before Curry: My experience before Curry was corporate armed and unarmed college security.

Brief Personal History: I enjoy going to the range to practice my skills. I enjoy working out and keeping a healthy lifestyle. I play basketball during my free time and enjoy spending time with my family.

Brief Personal History: Music, family, food and fashion are my love languages. You can usually find me cooking up a storm in the kitchen, while listening to my favorite tunes.

Experience before Curry: Worked as public safety officer at Dean college.

Brief Personal History: In addition to working as an officer at Curry, I also work as a software developer. I enjoy traveling with family and enjoy running daily. I grew up in the nearby town of Mattapan and currently residing in Providence.

Favorite Place on Campus: Levin library, the library is a peaceful place to work on your ideas.

Time at Curry: Since 2025

Experience before Curry: Graduated in 2025 with Bachelor of Criminology, worked security at Target and Gillette, Had two internships at Barnstable County Sherrif's Office and East Bridgewater Police Department.

Brief Personal History: I have a cat who I adopted from college named Remi who I bring on trips to Target, Barnes & Noble, and other stores. I also love reading, playing video games with my friends, and traveling to new places.
