In addition to the core requirements, MCA students will complete 12 elective credits in the department, 2 courses at the 2000 level and 2 courses at the 3000 level, and complete an Internship (COM 3450).
MCA electives provide additional opportunities for students to pursue a minor(s) in consultation with their academic and PAL advisors. Note this curricular model enables students to pursue at least two minors in our department or a minor(s) offered by other departments. MCA students may also tread more deeply in a minor field of study or take courses beyond the 15 credits required for the minor.
